Jeff Doyle

Jeff Doyle received a bachelor of human kinetics from Trinity Western University where he played varsity soccer.  After graduation he went on to work in a variety of local private and public fitness facilities in the Fraser Valley at which time he earned his Personal Training certification with the BC Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA).  A few years later Jeff began personal training out of Vancouver and gained his BCRPA Trainer of Fitness Leaders (TFL) designation allowing him to teach the BCRPA fitness leadership courses.

Through these courses Jeff had the opportunity to prepare future fitness professionals for success in the fitness industry by sharing his own experiences of working for some of the most successful training companies in BC including Twist Conditioning and Innovative Fitness.  During this time Jeff took part in a series of outdoor recreational events, appeared on television, wrote for fitness publications and developed his own exercise manual and DVD.

Jeff went to work for the BCRPA in 2006 and shortly thereafter became the Fitness Program Manager.  In this position Jeff was able to experience the industry from a very unique perspective.  He has been part of various committees and governmental projects as a project manager all aimed to improve support of physical activity in BC and Canada.  This perspective coupled with Jeff’s practical experience training thousands of hours worth of clients in various types of settings gives him an insight into the industry that you won’t experience anywhere else.  He’s excited to share this information with future fitness professionals so they have a clear understanding of the industry as a whole making them more successful as a trainer, a business person and an advocate.
