Hello Sylvain,
I feel this message is long overdue. I want to write you to say thank you! Without your help and support I would not be where I am today. When I first started my sessions with you I had very little love for myself and little to no faith in what I could achieve. I am now in a much better place both mentally and physically. I have lost 35lbs since I started my weight loss journey and I now have the confidence I will get to my goal of losing another 30lbs.

I have so much more energy and zest for life and could not have gained either one of those without you! I now work out 5 days a week and LOVE IT!!!

I felt a bond with you that I have not felt with anyone in a very long time. You made me feel like I could do anything I set my mind to, no matter the hardships. In my journey there has definitely been hardships but I still push through.

Hello Andre – just wanted to thank you again for last Friday and the fitness test. I learned SO much, and am very grateful for the new insights – primarily it was a HUGE gift to know that I wasn’t going crazy (with endless workouts and incredibly stubborn weight loss I was beginning to think I was losing my mind!). I instituted the changes right away in my workouts since Friday – long sessions (or even two sessions with long brisk walks with the dog as well) all under my anaerobic threshold. Also made a few adjustments to my diet as you recommended. And things seem to be working (fingers crossed) – have already lost lbs since Friday, so it’s coming off really well now. I am thrilled, as you might imagine!

No Back Pain in Over a Year!
When I first came to see Andre I had back pain and was out of shape. Every few months I kept putting my back out. I tried Physiotherapy, but received no results from their treatments. I did not want to take prescription medication for my back, so I decided INFOFIT would be what I needed to improve my health. Within 3 months I started feeling better. I lost weight, got a toned body and have no back trouble in over a year now! INFOFIT has been a very positive experience for me. I'd always been a tall and lean type, one who dabbled a bit in weight training in my late teens/early thirties until a traumatic shoulder injury made training very hard to do. A sedentary lifestyle, a job where I sat for hours on end and the changes that one's body undertakes with age all chipped away at that lean form little by little. One day in 2007, after returning from a trip I was shocked to see a flabby, round, middle aged women with my face looking back at me from our vacation photos. Those pictures were a wake up call. I was advised to try out Andre Noel Potvin. My goals were to lose body fat but also to build good posture, muscle and strength. In about 14 months I went from a slouching person of 159 flabby pounds to a tall standing 146 lbs. of pretty lean muscle, losing pounds of fat while gaining pounds of solid muscle. It was hard work, but I stuck with it. Today, at age 42, I am leanest and strongest I've ever been in my life. Andre Noel Potvin deserves the credit for his effective training and rehabilitation programs, hard work and his obvious desire to see me reach whatever goals I set for myself. I felt there was more to my recovery from some of my health problems than what my doctors were foretelling. I couldn't imagine a sedentary life with little hope of regular activity, after I had recovered from physical trauma. I knew in the back of my mind that becoming more active was my only hope for a reasonably healthy future, but I didn't know where to start in that endeavor. I was stuck in lethargy limbo. Once I met Andre everything just clicked, and I decided to test his expertise. Andre views fitness as a part of total body health, and doesn't just focus on my body's component parts. Andre has been able to create and maintain a new and interesting fitness schedule for me that I doubt I would have found anywhere else. His unique combination of scientific knowledge, encouragement and motivation is far different from stories I've heard of other trainers. Most people think that a trainer is merely a disciplinarian who puts you on a "lift more or die" weight program. This is not the way Andre Noel Potvin works. Andre has become a trusted coach and advisor. He focuses on me as an individual and pays particular attention to my abilities and my physical limitations. He built my fitness program to meet my particular requirements in such a way that I have benefited far beyond my expectations. Andre's knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics have kept my body safe as well as helped my body recover some of its youthful capacity. I started feeling some effects of working with Andre within a couple of weeks. After a few months, I felt that my life was changing. After six months, I felt that I was a new person. Today, I feel much better about my body and about how well the world sees me. I can also think much more clearly now that my body is working better. Now that I've been working with Andre for over a year, I feel that I am healthier, happier and have a brighter future. I might even live forever. My doctors are still stunned at my new life. Until you read this, Andre was my little secret. I would be happy to talk with anyone about Andre's approach to total body health and fitness because nothing, and no one, has come close to making me feel this good and this proud of myself and my accomplishments."

I hold a great deal of respect for Sylvain Cyr. Sylvain started to work out of our gym, Momentum Fitness, in 2009 and has been an outstanding person and fitness leader to work with.
