The Sad Truth About Soda

According to ACSM the American College of Sports Medicine, a high level of phosphates from diet soda leeches calcium out of the bones. Daily consumption of diet soda makes you three to four times more likely to suffer from a stress fracture and at an increased risk for osteoporosis.

The primary ingredient is water, but, with all the other “stuff” it contains it can have a…toxic…poisonous…lethal…venomous… seriously harmful effect on your entire body. Drinking soda pop is a sure-fire way to age faster.

Regular Soda leaches calcium from bones! Both unsweetened and the sweetened version using high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and crystalline fructose is essentially consuming fat! The fructose is turned into free fatty acids (FFAs), VLDL (the damaging form of cholesterol), and triglycerides, which get stored as fat.

Fructose is a major contributor to:

  • Insulin resistance and obesity
  • Elevated blood pressure
  • Elevated triglycerides and elevated LDL (Cholesterol)
  • Depletion of vitamins and minerals
  • Cardiovascular disease, liver disease, cancer, arthritis and even gout
