Full body workout, not just your legs

The Squat is Number One

If you don’t practice a Squat, you’re not weight training properly period. By far it is the number one weight training fitness exercise because it is a full body workout, not just your legs.

Full Body Exercise

Performed in strength training, this full body exercise trains primarily the muscles of the hip, buttocks, thighs and, quads (intermedius and vastus lateralus medialis), hamstrings. Additionally, the squat strengthens the ligaments and insertion of the tendons and the bones throughout the lower body. Squats are a vital exercise for developing core strength, increasing the strength and size of the legs and buttocks. The upper back, the lower back, the trunk muscles, the abdominal muscles, the costal muscles,  the arms and shoulders are all essential in performing the exercise and are trained squatting with proper form.
