Due to its versatile nature and impressive health benefits, raw cacao was once valued so highly that the Mayans historically used it as currency. Its uses vary from everything such as fuel for moderate physical activity, to intense workouts and even recovery. Furthermore, cacao has been rated the #1 superfood in the world for its insanely high levels of antioxidant properties and phytochemical content, including ”the bliss chemical”; which intensifies our “feel-good” feelings.
