Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer
Faolan Dunphy, is a former NCAA Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach, endurance sport coach, and educator for Infofit School for Fitness Professionals. Faolan has over 20 years of practical experience in fields varying from youth to geriatric and from clinical to sport rehabilitation to world-class sport performance consulting.
As a youth, I was involved in track, soccer, hockey and basketball, then in high school began training in the weight room. Suffering soft tissue injuries from multiple motor vehicle incidents forced me to find ways to keep my body functioning and strong. Even so, an attempt at distance running, and eventually triathlon proved too difficult to manage at a competitive level.
At 19, with the inception of a training career, high performance training and rehabilitation became of great interest.
In 2001, I established my first training company; Functional Core Development, and in 2005 moved into education work, helping to certify hundreds of trainers.
In the last 12 years, working with athletes from high school to university programs to world class athletes, as well as with professional team performance consulting, led to the birth of Speed. Power. Endurance. GPP Consulting.
I’m most passionate about remaining curious (about nearly everything), digging deeper (into what makes society tick), and helping people (help themselves). Along the way, I’d like to have fun, and be kind.
Learn, Understand, Act, Fail. Repeat until success replaces failure.
